Long Mott Harbor
The Port’s Long Mott Harbor currently services industrial and commercial customers, and provides ideally located direct access to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. It is the first port off of the Victoria Barge Canal with navigable dimensions matching that of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, with no bridges or height restrictions or obstructions between the Harbor and Waterway.
Long Mott Harbor is the first port facility off the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. The facility features a concrete dock designed for containerized, heavy lift, or project cargoes and a stabilized limestone dock for liquid or bulk transfer cargoes..
Long Mott Harbor offers a close proximity to US Highway 35, State Highways 185 and 59, and Interstate 69 which has been designated as a state primary freight corridor. For customers who need to ship products by rail, dual rail options are available. Additionally, the Harbor’s location in South Central Texas along the South Texas Gulf Coast allows our customers quick access to major markets with our central location between Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin, and San Antonio all within a 150 miles from the port. Also, Dallas/Fort Worth is approximately 325 away.
